Tunisia-Reform of education system: Towards adoption of single session regime

During his visit to the governorate of Medenine, Minister of National Education Mohamed Ali Boughdiri revealed that the ministry is operating to establish the single session regime for students, as part of the reform of the system educational and after the installation of the Higher Council of Education.

As a reminder, in Médenine, three educational institutions have already adopted this regime for a session from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. which permits students to be available in the afternoon for other cultural and sporting activities.

As a reminder, Tunisia has launched a national consultation on the reform of the education and education system. It is part of the efforts of the Tunisian State to set a global vision of the reform of the education system at its different phases(preschool, basic education, secondary education, vocational training and higher education).

It seeks to collect the opinions of pupils, students, learners, teachers, parents and all stakeholders in the education system, to determine future general trends.
