Amal Party Executive Director Ridha Belhaj announced that the President of the republic Kais Saied isolated himself after the state of emergency was declared on July 25, 2021, and locked himself in a vicious cycle. “I am persuaded that Parliament will resume its activity very soon, maybe in another form and under new conditions, given that no other solution has yet been introduced at the present time”, he said.
He held the President of the Republic accountable for the failure to establish the Constitutional Court, considering that this institution will contribute to the resolution of the current political crisis.
