President Kais Saied and Caretaker prime minister Youssef Chahed visited the injured at Beja regional hospital to inquire about the victims’ state of health, Saied was additionally informed about first aid and treatments delivered by medical teams, security officials and civil protection.

The head of state later moved to Ben Arous Trauma and Major Burns Centre and Charles Nicolle to check on those injured in the tour bus crash. He spoke to family members, extended his sincere condolences and wished a speedy recovery for the wounded.
