Coffee stocks are being exhausted! This was confirmed this Tuesday, December 27, 2022, by the director general for the trade office, Elyes Ben Ameur.
He told Mosaique FM, that “this stock usually covers a month and a half and sometimes up to two months, but today the stock is sufficient only for only 15 days “.
Nevertheless, he desired to reassure Tunisians, disclosing several measures which will be adopted, including the increase in the quantities of coffee put in the circuit (instead of the usual 100 tonnes).
“These quantities should be doubled, according to him, in addition to the contribution of the quantities available in ports and warehouses, all covering our necessities for the next month of January,” he said.
