As part of the battle against mosquitoes, a private company (Elloumi Group) took the initiative to give a helicopter to fight against the insects that the Sijoumi area is currently encountering.
It should be noted that the citizens of La Marsa complained about the mosquito invasion, because of the total lack of treatment of the larvae sites.
The Ministry of Local Affairs affirmed on May 22, 2021, the commencement of the fight against mosquitoes in coordination with the services of the National Sanitation Office (ONAS).
