Regional Health Director in Siliana Mohamed Farjaoui said 40 people suspected of having contracted the coronavirus are continuing their mandatory health lockdown in the region.
He said that the tests carried out on 35 cases are negative, pending the remaining results.
The same source added to TAP correspondent, that 220 people in Siliana have already completed their period of self-isolation without developing symptoms of the virus.
Out of the 24 governorates of Tunisia, two regions, Siliana and Jendouba, have so far not experienced any cases of COVID-19 contamination.
