A maritime Unit under Sousse marine area discovered nearly 220 kilograms of fishes after stopping and searching a vehicle, Jawhra FM reported.
Sousse Directorate for Sea Fishing was notified and after inspection, a veterinarian deemed the fish as rotten.
Legal proceedings were initiated against the violators and the seized fish were destroyed.
