Utica Tataouine issued on its page on social networks a document containing a decision from the Ministry of Trade and Export Development relating to a potential fixing, from November 1, of the price of sugar in bulk and in bags of a kilogram.
According to the document in question, the authenticity of which we have not yet been able to verify, the price for sale to the consumer of bulk sugar was fixed at 1400 millimes per kg at retail and at 1520 millimes per 1 kg bag.
Remark that the Ministry of Commerce has not yet communicated on the setting of the price of sugar.
In a statement to Mosaique FM, the CEO of the Commerce Office, Haithem Zannad today affirmed the updating of the selling prices of sugar to consumers and manufacturers.
