Tunisie Numerique has learned that prime minister Hichem Mechichi plans to sack health minister Faouzi Mehdi and delegate Mohamed Trabelsi as interim. This decision, which had to be taken many weeks ago, is maintained by Faouzi Mehdi’s disastrous management of the health crisis in Tunisia.
It should be evoked that Mohamed Trabelsi accompanied the PM on his trip to Geneva to meet the director-general of WHO.
On the other hand, Tunisie Numerique has also learned that Ennahdha is putting great pressure on Kasbah to appoint Abdellatif Mekki as minister adviser in charge of the health file.
