Mohamed Ben Attia’s acclaimed movie “Dear Son” (Weldi) will represent Tunisia in the Best Foreign Movie pre-selection category in the 2020 Oscar awards, the National Film and Moving Image Centre (CNCI) declared.
“My Dear Son” was unanimously chosen by a distinguished panel of cinema specialists, who properly met on August 26 under the aegis of the CNCI.
The film “meets all the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the Rules of Participation published by the Academy of Oscars,” said a statement from the Center, reported the TAP Agency.
