He stated that the situation is turbulent due to the oxygen shortage due to the high demand and growing influx of covid patients. In addition, he maintained that the hospital has just acquired large quantities of oxygen cylinders from neighbouring governorates, largely Jendouba and Tunis.
Medical staff at the hospital said they did their best to give oxygen to all patients and that everyone present showed patience. “Stay at home, do not listen to any politician, citizens of Beja! Unite against this pandemic! Where are the banks? you enjoy our farmers’ money! Aid us!” said a nurse
