Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, General doctor Khaled Jlassi called for providing general practitioners with the place they merit, by bringing them to systematic equivalence to become family physicians.
General practitioners have introduced an initiative to the presidency of parliament, and all political parties in the parliament have been in favour of legislative reforms that will guarantee this transition.
Commenting on the death of the young doctor due to a faulty elevator at Jendouba hospital, Jlassi stated that the opening of an inquiry is only a formality, ensuring that the real solution lies in the reform of the health infrastructure.
