Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, MP Yassine Ayari announced that holding the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT) congress in the middle of a pandemic is a crime. Underscoring the specificity of the epidemiological situation in Sousse, Ayari stated he had talked to the secretary-general of the UGTT Noureddine Taboubi to cancel the organization of the congress in question. He hence indicated that he directed an oral question to the Minister of Health Faouzi Mehdi to explain the authorization which was granted to the UGTT to organize his event.
