Commenting on Nabil Karoui‘s imprisonment, “Tahya Tounes” presidential nominee Youssef Chahed for the early presidential election said that this act illustrates the functional dependency of the judiciary system.
In an exclusive interview with Mosaïque FM, Chahed positively affirmed the fundamental necessity to uphold rulings of the judiciary in Tunisia, adding that prisoners possess the right to appeal.
Concerning finger-pointing directed to him in this case, Chahed didn’t express his astonishment as some went as far to accuse him to be the reason behind recent heavy rainfalls, adding that such matters do not affect him.
