An 11-year-old child hanged himself on Sunday October 25, 2020. The child is from Zarzis, and was discovered hanged in front of his home. Notwithstanding the intervention of civil protection, he passed away.
According to the father, a doctor in the region, he went out with his family for shopping and on their return they found their son hanging from a tree with an electric cable.
The father ruled out the possibility that his son committed suicide following video games, he also indicated that he did not suffer from psychological disorders. The prosecution took charge of the case and the child’s father refused to have an autopsy performed on his son.
