The United States, Canada, Japan and the United Kingdom will ban imports of Russian gold as a punitive measure against the country over its military operation in Ukraine, the Press Association reported.
The measures are set to come into force soon, however, they will not affect previously exported gold of Russian origin, while newly mined and refined gold will be covered by the ban.
