The number of people who tested positive for the coronavirus during the day in the United States landed at 34,766 on Sunday, taking the country’s total to 5,993,668, according to Johns Hopkins University’s tally.
Additionally, the data showed virus-related deaths rising by 321 to 183,039, while the total number of tests distributed by health workers across the nation reached 77.5 million.
