Algeria displayed an extraordinary performance during the Africa Cup of Nations. However, the team endured some challenges during its match versus Ivory Coast when Baghdad Bounedjah missed a penalty in the second period.
Sofiane Feghouli struck down the team’s first goal in the 20th minute. Soon after Jonathan Kodjia equalized the record for Ivory Coast by scoring a goal.
After seizing its place in the semi-finals Algeria will be meeting Nigeria in Cairo on Sunday.
