The Sixth Criminal Chamber of the Court of First Instance of Tunis decided today, Monday, April 18, 2022, to accept the complaint in form and to cancel the ruling of 4 months’ imprisonment against former MP Fatma Mseddi.
The aforementioned Chamber likewise decided to dismiss her case in the context of the case brought against her by former security officer Abdelkarim Abidi.
It should be mentioned that Ms. Mseddi accused Abidi of being implicated in networks of dispatching terrorists to hotbeds of tension.
As a result, he filed a criminal complaint against her for social media slander and posting wrong allegations against a public official.
