The President of the Chamber at the Court of Auditors, Fadhila Gargouri stated, this Friday, November 13, 2020, that notifications on “speculated ” crimes registered during the 2019 presidential and legislative elections will be communicated to the judicial and financial orders.
In a statement to TAP, Gargouri maintained the action comes under article 163 of the electoral code. She added, to the same source, that the public prosecutor at the Court of Auditors will be responsible for transmitting notifications to the Justice, assuring that any offence found during the electoral process which amounts to a crime will be transferred to the judicial and financial orders.
