The group of lawyers defending rights and freedoms voiced this Thursday, its “absolute support for former president Moncef Marzouki in the face of the despairing attempts of the authority of the coup to liquidate his political enemies and make them hush up”.
Remarking that the course of the trial had been launched by direct order of the authority of the coup d’etat on the occasion of the Ministerial Council meeting on October 14, 2021, in flagrant breach of Articles 102 and 109 of the Constitution.
The group likewise condemned the involvement of the judiciary in the circle of judicial investigation after the subjugation of military justice by the coup authority to carry out its agenda.
