A music therapy unit in the oncology department at Bechir Hamza children’s hospital was inaugurated on Thursday in the attendance of the Minister of Health Ali Mrabet.
This unit was set up in collaboration with the association “Salima”. It is an equipped room and unique in Tunisia and Africa, indicates a press release from the Ministry of Health.
A team of specialist doctors from the hospital has begun adopting the music therapy experience as an addition to the treatment for cancer disease in children.
