The Dhehiba-Wazen crossing experiences notable traffic and serious traffic jams upon entering Tunisian territory, given the continued closure of the Ras Jdir crossing since mid-March.
The movements take place at a slow pace and the waiting time to finish the procedures at the crossing surpasses 10 hours, due to the increase in the number of Libyan families arriving on Tunisian territory, whether for treatment or for exchanges of visits or tourism (the number of passengers is estimated daily at approximately 2,500 individuals).
