Revenue from olive oil exports grew by 54.1% to 3 billion dinars.

Since the beginning of the campaign at the end of August 2023, revenue from olive oil exports has risen by 54.1% and stands at 3 billion dinars, according to the National Agricultural Observatory. (Onagri).

In volume, olive oil exports declined by 2.3%, to 175.7 thousand tonnes, compared to the same period of the 2021-2022 campaign.

Onagri specified that the average price registered during the first ten months of the campaign grew by 57.7% to stand at the level of 16.92 TND/kg against 10.73 TND/kg registered during the same period. period of the last campaign.

Similarly, national production of olive oil is up 11% and will stand at 200 thousand tonnes for the 2023-2024 season.

Olive oil production for the 2022-2023 season attained 180 thousand tonnes, compared to 240 thousand tonnes during the 2021-2022 season for prices between 14 and 19 dinars/litre for the 2022-2023 season. , and between 9 and 12 dinars/litre in 2021-2022.
