Speaking to Tunisie Numérique Ukraine’s ambassador to Tunisia Mr Volodymur Khomanets expressed Ukraine’s constant desire to seek peace, adding that as Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy there are at least five pre-conditions for a fair and just peace. The first of these conditions is liberating the Ukrainian-occupied territory.
The ambassador voiced the inability to communicate with Putin’s regime and his accomplices as they are not negotiable, adding that it is impossible to negotiate with whom don’t follow international laws and violate all previous agreements, UN Charter and any approach on our side for negotiations.
Many peaceful initiatives were delivered by Ukraine’s president Zelenskyy during the G7 summit during the Francophonie summit which was recently held in Djerba, adds the ambassador.
In the same context, he stressed that Ukraine already gave signals to the world and its readiness for peace but Russia only understands the power of strength, adding that Russia must be defeated and Ukraine must win.
He asserted that Ukraine is ready and will be always ready for peace talks, but that should be accompanied by pre-conditions including liberating all Ukrainian territories including Dumbass and Crimea.
He stressed that Russian only understands only the power of strength and that Russia must be defeated, calling on to support Ukraine and stop this war as well as achieve a peace agreement with reliable partners
“It’s a very simple truth. We don’t want to be colonized once again by Russia we are facing real genocide from their side, and we don’t have any other options plan B C extra… Ukraine only has one option: withstand and win this war”, concluded our speaker.
