Following his meeting with prime minister-designate Hichem Mechichi, President of the National Reform parliamentary group Hsouna Nasfi described the meeting as positive.
Both sides agreed on several points, in particular around national priorities such as economic and social security and the need for a political “ceasefire”, he said.
The MP also raised the subject of the relations between the next government and the Parliament which must, according to him, be based on collaboration and respect.
He said that due to the absence of homogeneity of the current political scene, the Reform bloc would prefer a government with independent powers” technocrats” and able of bringing together “political opponents”
