Tunisia: Swimming prohibited on 28 beaches

The Department of Environmental Health and Environmental Protection at the Ministry of Health revealed that it had been decided, for this summer, to ban swimming on 28 beaches presenting a risk to the health of vacationers. .

These beaches are distributed as follows:

  • 2 beaches in Tunis: off Avenue du Casino de La Goulette and Avenue Fatouma Bourguiba in La Goulette Goulette
  • 16 beaches in the governorate of Ben Arous: 100 meters south of Chott Marouane, opposite the Radès power station thermal baths, opposite the Radès Civil Protection building, 100 meters north of the mouth of the wadi Meliane Rades, 100 meters south of the mouth of the wadi Meliane Ezzahra, opposite the mouth of the wadi Mu’izat Ezzahra, and the mouth of the wadi Bou Khamsa Ezzahra, off the coast of rue de Salsa Major, Hammam-Lif, off rue du 7 Novembre, Hammam-Lif, opposite the Hammam-Lif casino, and Salambo road, Hammam-Lif, off rue Habib Thamer, Hammam-Lif, and off Aziza Othmana Street, Hammam-Lif, and the ancient estuary of Châabiya, Hammam-Lif, and the mouth of Wadi Lif, Hammam al-Lif And opposite the Caribbean hostel, Borj Cedria.

  • Beach in the Governorate of Sousse: Port of Sousse Beach
